Interior Design & Innovation Awards Competition Rules & Guidelines
1. Eligibility
The Interior Design & Innovation Awards is open to interior designers, architects, and design firms worldwide. Projects must be real, completed residential or commercial interior designs, or conceptual/in-progress designs that showcase innovative ideas and execution potential. All submissions must have been conceptualized or completed within the last two years (from the submission date).
2. Submission Guidelines
Each entry must include:
High-quality images.
A project description outlining design intent, innovation, and key details.
Designer or firm name, contact information, and project location.
Multiple entries are allowed, but each project must be submitted separately. Entries must be submitted via the official Interior Design & Innovation Awards website before the deadline. Submissions via email will not be accepted.
3. Categories & Judging Criteria
Entrants must select the appropriate category for each submission. Projects will be judged based on:
Innovation & Creativity – Unique approaches to design challenges.
Functionality & Practicality – Space planning, usability, and efficiency.
Aesthetic Excellence – Visual appeal, material selection, and cohesiveness.
The judging panel consists of industry experts, architects, and design leaders, and all decisions are final. The Interior Design & Innovation Awards reserves the right to combine categories if fewer than 10 applicants enter a specific category.
4. Image & Content Rights
By submitting, entrants confirm they own or have rights to the images and project materials provided. The Interior Design & Innovation Awards reserves the right to use submitted materials for promotional purposes, marketing, and media publications (with full credit to the designer).
5. Winner Recognition & Awards
Shortlisted entrants will receive a digital badge upon entry fee payment.
Finalists will receive an official finalist digital badge to showcase their achievement.
The top three winners in each category will be awarded a physical trophy.
Winners will only be required to cover the shipping fee for their physical award.
6. Disqualification
The Interior Design & Innovation Awards reserves the right to disqualify any submission that:
Violates copyright laws (e.g., submitting work not owned by the entrant).
Contains plagiarized, AI-generated, or non-original content.
Is incomplete, misleading, or submitted after the deadline.
7. Important Dates & Deadlines
Submission Deadline: April 30th, 2025, 11:59 PM EST
Shortlist Notified: May 12th, 2025
Finalist Announcement: June 12th, 2025
Winners Revealed: June 30th, 2025
