Who can enter the Interior Design & Innovation Awards (IDIA)?

IDIAwards is open to interior designers, architects, and design firms from around the world. Whether you’re an emerging talent or an established professional, we welcome innovative and outstanding residential and commercial design projects.

Is there a fee to submit an application?

No! Applying is completely free. If your project is selected as a finalist, there may be a fee to proceed to the final judging round.

What types of projects can be submitted?

We accept projects in various categories, including kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms, living spaces, home offices, commercial interiors, and full-home designs. Your project should showcase innovation, functionality, and aesthetic excellence.

Does my project need to be recently completed?

Yes, all submitted projects must have been completed, or conceptualized, within the last two years to ensure they reflect current design trends and innovation.

How are entries judged?

Entries are evaluated based on innovation, creativity, functionality, and overall aesthetic impact. Each project is reviewed against rigorous criteria to ensure fairness.

What do winners receive?

Winners of the Interior Design & Innovation Award (IDIA) receive both prestigious recognition and tangible rewards:

Top Three Winners in Each Category will receive:

  • A physical trophy commemorating their achievement (winners will only need to cover the shipping fee).

  • An exclusive winner’s digital badge for their website, portfolio, and social media.

  • Increased exposure to potential clients, brands, and media opportunities.

  • Exposure via website and marketing material.

Finalists (top 10 in each category)will receive:

  • A finalist digital badge for professional recognition.

Shortlisted Entrants will receive:

Can I submit more than one project?

Yes! You can submit multiple projects across different categories, as long as each project meets the eligibility criteria.

When is the submission deadline?

The deadline for submissions is July 31st 2025. We encourage you to apply early to ensure a smooth review process. Shortlisted designers will be contacted via email.
